QUANTUM PHYSICS
We all know, Light is made up of Photons. Photons has both Particle and Wave Nature and these Photons travel in the speed of Light. The behavior of Wave because, We can't find the exact position of Photon. In wave, Photon is present anywhere. Do photons has mass? Every objects in this Universe has wave nature. To learn about it, We want know more about Quantum Physics. Let's see about it.
DOUBLE SLIT EXPERIMENT:
At First, We will learn about Double Slit Experiment. Two Slits are placed before you. You pass electrons in that slit. To mark the Electrons, a screen is placed. The electrons are spotted straight on the screen. But, the electrons are appeared in the lined structure. This is because, the electrons moved in a Wave nature. The waves passed through the Two slits makes the inter mixing of Crests and Troughs of the Waves. This leads to the increase of height of Waves. So, waves with tall nature are spotted in the Screen. This is called as CONSTRUCTIVE INTERFERENCE.
If the Crusts and Troughs of the waves is collide with the Troughs and Crusts of another wave leads to the cancelling of the waves. So, No wave will appear. This is called DECTRUCTIVE INTERFERENCE. The brightness of the spotted electrons depends upon the height of waves. So, the electron passes like a Ripples in Water. The H2O molecules are collectively forms Ripples. But, we pass a single electron to the slit, How it behave like a Wave? At first we see that Wave Nature of Photons. In that wave, Photon is present in anywhere . So, electrons also present anywhere in that wave. This is called WAVE FUNCTION.
SCHRODINGER's EQUATION:
According to Schrodinger's Equation, We can find out the electrons in the Wave Function where electron is spotted more possibly. In a Wave Function, The particle may present anywhere. This nature is called as QUANTUM SUPERPOSITION.
HEISENBERG UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE:
A slit is placed. A laser is passed through it. The appearance of laser depends upon the size of the slit. If the slit size decreases, it appears as wider. This is due to the Uncertainty Principle. For more clarity, take Photon as example It may present anywhere in a wave. To measure the momentum we need the exact position of Photon.
The position of Photon is denoted as x and the momentum is denoted as p. Delta is the Uncertainty in the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. Every electron, Proton or a Photon, we could find the exact position, we don't know what is the momentum and what is the movement of the Photon. If we could find the Momentum, We can't able to find the Position. This is the basic of Quantum Physics.
WHY WE DON'T HAVE THE WAVE NATURE?
Let's take the De-Broglie Wavelength Equation to solve this. In the Equation, λ=h/p, λ is the Wavelength, h is the Plank's Constant and p is the momentum. Momentum is the mass multiplied by the Velocity. For a Human, We take mass of an average person is 60kg, and the velocity of him/her is 10km/hr. The value of λ is almost equal to Zero. So, We are in the particle Nature.
QUANTUM TUNNELING:
You can take the latest example to understand this topic. The latest Flagship Processor of Snapdragon is Snapdragon 8Gen1. The transistor size of 8gen1 is 4nm. Every processor has a Source and a Drain. A gate is present between them. The electrons flows from the Source to the Drain. If the gate closed, Zero is processed.
And if gate opened, One is processed. The switching of Zeros and Ones are the reason to run a Mobile. If the size of transistor decreased further, it will malfunction the Mobile. If Quantum Tunneling is absent, The Sun is absent. Because, it helps in the Nuclear Fusion reaction in the Sun.
QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT:
Take two electrons, that have ability to spin itself, Both are entangled. If we measure any one electron, If it spins up, then the another electron will spins down. If the measured electron spins down, then the another electron will spins up. Quantum Entanglement also has Proof.
THE CONCLUSION:
