THE ANTI-MATTER

Before 13.8 billion years, Our Universe is like a Vacuum or empty space, it didn't has any objects. After the Big-Bang, Stars, Planets and so on are formed. Big-Bang creates both Matter and Anti-Matter. We can able to see Matters that is present around us. But, Where is Anti-Matter? Let's see about it. 

THE MATTER:

First we'll see about the Matter. The objects in this Universe is made up of Matter. The Matters are formed by Atoms. The Atoms are formed by Elementary Particles. Basically, Quarks and Leptons. For example, Electron is an Elementary Particle. It is a normal particle. Electron is negatively charged. The Anti-Particle of Electron must be Positively Charged. It is Positron. Both of them has similar characteristics. The Anti-Electron is discovered by Paul Dirac in 1928 by his Dirac Equation. In this equation, He includes Einstein's Theory of Relativity and the Quantum Theory. He assumed that, If Electron is present, opposite to that an Anti-Electron must be present. But, He has no proof then.

But, In 1932, Carl D. Anderson found a new particle in the CLOUD CHAMBER EXPERIMENT. The particle is similar to Electron. But, the particle is Positively charged. This Particle moved in opposite direction of Electron in the Magnetic Field. So, they named it as Anti-Electron or POSITRON. Like this all particles has its Anti-Particle. So that Our Universe also has Parallel Universe or Multiverse. If the collision of Matter and Anti-Matter takes place, It converts into energy and it will destroy. We can take Hydrogen as Example. Hydrogen has one Electron and One Proton. If it combines with Anti-Hydrogen that contains Anti-Proton and Positron it creates energy and it will destroy. This will happed by the Einstein's Mass Energy Equation. (E=mc²)

THE ANTI-MATTER:

All objects in the Universe is made up of Matter. Why we can't able to see Anti-Matter? Because, We already see that, If an Electron and a Positron collides, it will forms Energy and it destroyed. The collision of Electron and a Positron releases 511KeV of energy. If Matter and  Anti-Matter in this Universe are equal, they collides each other and it will destroy. But Universe forms Matters grater than Anti-Matters. Example, In Cancer treatment, PET Scan is taken to identify them. PET stands for Positron Emission Tomography. In that, an Radio-Active element is injected to the patient's body. If it decays, it will create Positron. The Positron searched Electron to collide with it. In the collision of Positron and Electron, Energy is released in the form of Gamma Rays. These rays are captured by the PET Scanner and it will show us in 3-d manner. It is useful to find the Cancer, Tumor etc. Anti-Matter is widely used in Medical Field. The easiest Anti-Particle produced is Positron.

If you take the salt Mg23, it decays to form Positron. This will search electrons to combine very fast and converts into energy. So, No Anti-Particle in our environment are stable and the discovery of Anti-Particle is also difficult. The only way is we want to create the Anti-Matters. If an Anti-Hydrogen is formed, We have Hydrogen atom. CERN, European Research Center, creates Anti-Hydrogen. It is trapped in a small Magnetic Field only for 16 minutes. It will collide with Hydrogen easily and very fast and converts into energy. Still now, Only 10 Nano Gram of Anti-Hydrogen is produced. The cost of make them is around 10-20 Million Dollars. 

THE CONCLUSION:

The formation of Anti-Matter is used to study the Big-Bang and It is use as a fuel in Rockets. If you take each one Kilogram of Matter and Anti-Matter. It creates energy which is 3000 times greater than Hiroshima Bomb Blast. In future, It may used as fuel.
