A RUSTY DESERT

Mars, You know it well by the pictures and from recent space researches. It is one of the Planets that visible to our naked eyes. It is a red colored beautiful Planet. So, Greeks call that Planet as a Red-Planet. What is present in Mars? Can we live in it? or Life is possible on Mars? Let’s see about it.

TWIN BROTHER:

While hearing the word MARS, many people compare Mars with our Earth. But, The size of the Planets are not similar. Mars is three times smaller than Earth. We can fit six Mars like Planets on Earth. But, The land surface of Earth is equal to the Land surface on Mars. This is because, 70% of the Earth’s Land surface is covered with Water. But, In Mars, Water is present as Glacier in North and South Pole. Earth and Mars are the only Planets that contains Ice Glaciers. We know one day of Earth is equal to 24 Hours. One day of Mars is equal to 24 Hours and 40 Minutes. The Gravity of Mars is 60% lesser than Earth. The core of Mars is cooled down. So, Mars has no Electro-Magnetic Field. Mars is affected by more Sun’s radiations and Solar Winds. Why Mars is Red? Simply, The surface of Mars is covered with Iron Oxides. Simply, Mars is rusted. How is it possible? Because, If Iron mixes with Oxides, It will become Rust. But, Mars has only 0.148% Oxygen. The rest amount is covered with Carbon and Nitrogen. So, How the Rust formed?

RUSTING OF MARS:

Scientists propose many theories about this. One of them is, Four Million Years ago, Mars also contains Water beds such as Rivers, Lakes. The Oxygen present in that time may react with Iron to form the Rust. The second one is, The heat from the Sun directly affected the surface Carbon-di-Oxide and it separates the Oxygen in the Carbon-di-Oxide. That Oxygen reacts with Iron to Rust. Even though all these, Mars is a Planet of Rust. Earth takes 365 days to complete one rotation around the Sun. But, Mars takes 684 days to complete one rotation. Because, Mars is the only Planet that revolves around Sun more elliptical. Mars is tilted to 25degrees. So, We call Mars as Twin brother of Earth. Seasons also happens in Mars. Mars has Blue colored Sun rise and Sun set. Sin is two times smaller while we see it in Mars. The name Mars comes from Roman God name MARS. He is the Roman God of War. Mars has two Moons. They are, Phobos and Deimos. They are not spherical shape. They are in Irregular Shape. 

TALLEST MOUNTAIN IN SOLAR SYSTEM:

Mars also has the tallest mountain in the Solar System. The name of the Mountain is Olympus Mons. It is also a Volcano. The length of this Mountain is 25kms or 16Miles.It is taller than Mt. Everest too. It is 18kms taller than Mt. Everest. Mars is also a place which is filled with Sand Strom. It is very near to the Asteroid Belt. So, Many asteroids will hit the Mars. There are seven Rovers present on Mars till now. They are also active till now. 

THE CONCLUSION:

The project MARS ONE deals with a Million Earth’s people will stay in Mars. We are living in a Heaven. But, We are trying to enter and stay in a rusty desert.
