 In Modern world we spent our time for the work, studies etc. We can't able to see the Beauty of the Nature and The Beauty of our Earth. The dancing of lights is visible only on North & South Poles. How this lights are dancing in poles only? Let's see about it.

 SOLAR (or) PLASMA WINDS:

Aurora Borealis is a phenomenon which is the dancing of lights at night in the poles. This is also called as Northern & Southern Lights. In India it is impossible to see them. In nights is is so bright and so beautiful to see. What is the reason for the formation of these lights? Well Our Sun is the answer. Sun is far away from the Earth. But, it gives us light & heat. Sun is in the forth matter ( Solid, Liquid, Gas and Plasma). Highest temperature of the sun is present in the CORONA (outer layer of the Sun). Plasma in the Corona is winded or rubber in nature. This rubber like expands till it snaps. After the Snap, it separates from the Sun. That separated plasma comes to the planets, probably our Earth. This phenomenon is called as SOLAR WIND OR PLASMA WIND.  

CORONAL MASS EJECTION:

Plasma winds contains a huge number of plasma particles, electrons. These winds are very harmful to us. But, our Earth protects us from these winds with the help of the Earth's MAGNETO SPHERE. This field is more stronger in sides and weaker in the  poles. This field stops the harmful Solar winds from the Sun. But the fast moving Solar Winds, around 8million km/hour has the ability to destroy the MAGNETO SPHERE of the Earth. This ejections from the Sun are called as the CORONAL MASS EJECTIONS. 

AURORA BOREALIS:

AURORA BOREALIS is a Latin word, which means The Light of Dawn or Day Light. These Auroras are enter our Earth at the Poles. The Plasma contains the huge number of HIGH ENERGY ELCTRONS. These high energy electrons reacts with the Nitrogen and Oxygen in the Atmosphere. After the reaction takes place, The Nitrogen and Oxygen becomes UNSTABLE. To stabilize again, It lose its electrons. This loss of High Energy Electrons is in the form of PHOTONS (light). This type of light is colorful and beautiful. If the Oxygen stabilizes, The PHOTONS looks YELLOWISH-GREEN. If the Nitrogen stabilizes, the PHOTONS looks like BLUE in color. 

THE CONCLUSION:

If the CORONAL MASS EJECTIONS from the Sun is stronger than the Earth's MAGNETO SPHERE, If it comes directly to the Earth, we can see the AURORAS everywhere from the Earth. But, Our Earth becomes Mars.
