Uranus Is the 7^th planet. In our solar system. It is a mysterious planet by its name. Scientist termed this planet as a boring planet because only few information about this planet is found. We’ll see about the mysterious and this boring planet in the solar system. Let’s see about it.

THE ICE GIANT:

Uranus is not visible in our naked eye, so ancient people stopped the number of Planets in our solar system with Saturn. William Herschel, A British astronomer Found this Uranus. At first he thought it was a comet, but after research, Uranus is considered as a planet. Scientist thought many names to this planet, they thought the name of British Princess William George to suit this planet. But many countries opposes this name. Then, finally Named this planet as Uranus, a Greek God name. Usually scientist put Roman names to the planet. But Uranus is a Greek God name. He is the God of Heaven. Many of the scientists termed this planet as a Boring Planet.

Because, If you search this planet through telescope. It looks like a Blue Dot. It do not have Ring Structure like Saturn, not colorful as Jupiter, but it is different from all other planet the planet. It is Far away from the Sun. So, the surface of Uranus is covered with solid ice. It is also called Ice Giant. The Mantle of Uranus is completely covered with ice. The core of Uranus’s cool down, it has a solid rock core. It is also the Coldest Planet. In our solar system, the atmosphere of Uranus is covered with hydrogen and helium, but mostly covered with methane. Methane gives blue color to this planet. One of the most atmospheric pressure because the surface of Uranus is covered with Diamonds, sometimes Diamond Rain also happen in Uranus.

Uranus smells like rotten egg because the surface of Uranus is covered with Hydrogen Sulphate and Methane, Uranus also has a Ringed Structure around like Saturn. But Saturn an has 7 layers of rings, But Uranus has 11 layers of rings. This ring is not so bright are like Saturn, it has small particles and ice particles too. Uranus has 27 moons, Titan is the biggest moon of Uranus, but it is smaller than our moon. The one part of Titan is covered with ice and another part is covered with rocks.
