The most beautiful Moon in the Solar System is our Moon (LUNA). But, the biggest Moon in Our Solar System is Jupiter's Moon, Ganymede.  What is the size of Ganymede? How it is special? Let's see about it.

THE JUPITER-3:

After our Moon, The first discovered Moon in the Universe is Ganymede. There is a mystery behind its discovery. In 365BC, A Chinese Astronomer noticed this Ganymede in naked. But, In 1610, Galileo found the four Moons of Jupiter and named it as Galilean Satellites. He easily found this Moon because of its size. This is the third Moon of Jupiter. Ganymede is the 9th biggest Object in the Solar System. The diameter of the Ganymede is 5300Kms. Ganymede is bigger than Mercury and Pluto. If it revolves around the Sun, It is considered as a Planet. The first name of the Ganymede is Jupiter-3, by Galileo. Hew put the names by Numbers. But, there is more than 80 Moons in the Jupiter. So, Numbers do not suit. Hence, Ganymede is named it after the Name of the Greek's God. He is not not a great God, He is Son of a Great King. It is also a Beautiful Moon.

Ganymede takes 7.2 days to complete one revolution around the Jupiter. Ganymede is also tidally locked to the Jupiter. It is not famous for its size, It is also famous for, The only Moon in the Solar System which has Magnetic Field around it. This  Magnetic Field protects the Moon from Solar Winds. But, It is also a part of Jupiter. The surface of the Ganymede is made up of thick Ice Glaciers. It is not pure white, it also has dark spots. So, some different minerals also combine with that ice Glaciers. It also has Ridges and Grooves. Ganymede also contains Black Rocks and It faces the Asteroid attack Into the surface, There may be  chance of the presence of Water for 800Kms. This may in Ice or in Liquid Water. If it has Water, The Water in Ganymede's water is much greater than Earth's Water. The only Moon which has active Core is Ganymede. The Core is made up of Iron. Even it is not confirmed, Let's hope it contains Water. 

GANYMEDE:

The surface temperature of the Ganymede is (-172°C)-(-252°C). Ganymede also has Cryo-Volcanos. These Volcanos emits Ice Glaciers. But, The atmosphere of Ganymede is not yet confirmed. The Atmospheric pressure of Ganymede is also very low. The atmosphere has the trace amount of Atomic Hydrogen and Oxygen. The atmosphere do not have an ability to maintain Sun's Heat.

The gravity of Ganymede is equal to Moon's Gravity. Even though it is bigger than Mercury, The mass of Ganymede is less than the Mass of Mercury. One third of Gravity and mass of Mercury is experienced in Ganymede. The formation of Ganymede may formed by  two ways. One is, it forms the Origin of Jupiter and another way is, Jupiter attracts this Dwarf Planet and make it as Moon.

THE CONCLUSION:

If Ganymede is present instead of Our Moon, We do not need any Street Light in the Full Moon day. But, We will experience more Tidal Forces. But, We have the Correct and exact size of Moon, The Luna.
