SAHARA 

THE LARGEST DESERT IN THE WORLD

Sahar is a place of Sand every where, Hottest place and No Humans at our eye sight. It contains many interesting and Mysterious facts. It is also the largest desert in the World. Is heat maintains any time? Let's see about it.

SAHARA AND ITS ORGANISMS:

Sahara is the third largest desert in the World. Third Largest? It is actually the first largest hottest desert. The first two largest deserts are Arctic and Antarctica. These two are cold deserts. But, Sahara is the Hot Desert. The name comes from the Word, SAHRA, which means Desert. So, simply we call it as Sahara. The area of Sahara is 9 Million Square Kilometers. If you want to travel one end to another end of Sahara, You want to travel 4800 Kilometers. Sahara was expanded by 10% in the past 100 Years. The main reason for this expansion is Nature and Humans. It contains many living Organisms and 2 Million People stays there. Some peoples are Nomads and some are native peoples. After you hear the Word  Sahara, You imagine that, a Land which is fully covered with Sand. But, Only 25% is covered with Sand. and the left 75% is covered with Sand reefs, Hills, Graphite, Plateaus and many large Mountain Ranges. Sahara also contains Volcanos. The tallest Volcano present in Sahara is Mt. Emi Koussi. The height of this Mountain is around 3500 Meters. But, Volcano is not active now.

This place is the Hottest Place on Earth. The temperature of Sahara is 58°C. This happens only in day time. In night, it also the coolest place. The temperature in night is (-8°C)-(-6°C). In some Mountains, Snow fall also seen. But, It has no Rain. In Sahara, Only 1% rainfall per year is noted till now. So, Water is precious in Sahara. Sahara has 20 Lakes. Only few Lakes contains fresh Water. LAKE OUNIAGA  contains more fresh Water. Most of the Lakes are Saline Water. Sahara also contains organisms like Camels, Leopards, Foxes, Lizards, Poisonous Snakes, Poisonous Scorpios and so on. But, Sahara is not a perfect place to live. But, Before 5000-10,000 Years, Sahara is filled with Green Trees Plants and variety of animals. Tamanrasset, a river is found in buried state. This river runs around a 500Kms. Trees, Lakes, Rivers surrounds Sahara. But, How it turns into desert? What is the reason for the disappearance of all this?

THE EYE OF SAHARA:

Scientists are researching this and yet to know it. The main reason for Sahara to become Desert is Earth. We all know Earth is 23.5 degrees tilted. This angle wobbles the Earth like a Top. This leads to the passage of Solar Winds and Solar Radiations directly in the Sahara, Africa. So, In between 5000-10,000 Years, Sahara becomes a Desert. After 5000-10,000 Years Sahara will again become green.

Scientists also found the large Bones of Whales, Shells of Tortoise, etc., How the Oceanic Organisms Live in Desert? The another part of Sahara is called WAID-EL-HITAN. It means the Valley of Whales. The ancestor of the Wales present there. They concluded that this place is completely filled with Water in Past. By NASA's Satellite, found a Round Shaped Valley, It looks like the Eye of Sahara. The diameter of this Eye ball is 50Kms. But, This Eye of Sahara is pone of the biggest mystery till now.

THE CONCLUSION:

The place that is above in front of our Eye contains these mystery. But, the things inside the Sands of Sahara will be??? In future it will found.
